Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for New York City on September 12 points to a minimum temperature in the mid-60s, with Central Park forecasts centering near 64°F amid partly cloudy skies, light southeast winds, and moderate humidity. This aligns closely with climatological norms of roughly 63°F for the date while reflecting limited overnight cooling potential from residual cloud cover and a modest dew-point depression. Trader sentiment clusters tightly between the 64-65°F and 66-67°F bins because small differences in boundary-layer mixing or timing of any evening showers can shift the observed low by 1–2°F, and official resolution relies on verified readings at primary stations rather than model output alone. No major shifts in steering patterns or moisture have emerged in the past 48 hours to alter this narrow range.
