Recent polling from outlets including Reuters/Ipsos, FT Focaldata, and Silver Bulletin shows President Trump’s job approval holding near 33-39 percent through early September 2026, with net ratings around -20 points amid sustained dissatisfaction over the Iran conflict’s impact on oil prices and household costs. Traders see limited near-term catalysts for improvement as midterm pressures mount and recent surveys record fresh lows on the economy and cost of living. With no major offsetting diplomatic or legislative developments in the immediate window, the consensus favors a further dip or continued stagnation in weekly tracking rather than an upward shift.
