Elena Pridankina holds the edge in this French Open qualifying second-round clash on clay against fellow Russian Julia Avdeeva, driven by her slightly higher ranking near WTA No. 220 and stronger recent results that include a straight-sets win over Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva in the prior qualifier. Avdeeva, ranked around No. 240, advanced comfortably past Eleejah Inisan but enters with a mixed record on the surface this spring. Both players share comparable experience at this level, with the match marking their second career meeting; Pridankina’s superior movement and consistency on slower courts have shaped trader consensus around a competitive but favorable outcome for the higher-ranked contender. Weather and potential fatigue from back-to-back qualifiers remain minor variables that could influence the three-set battle.
