Recent model consensus from sources including AccuWeather, Met Office, and regional forecasts indicates a highest temperature near 33–35 °C in Chongqing on September 4 under hazy or partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and minimal precipitation. Subtropical high pressure and typical early-September climatology support this range, with urban heat effects and humidity influencing afternoon peaks. Trader probabilities cluster tightly around 34 °C and 35 °C because small differences in boundary-layer mixing or cloud cover can shift the daily maximum by 1–2 °C, while longer-range guidance shows limited day-to-day change through the period. Updated short-range runs expected before resolution will refine the exact threshold.
