To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Current short-range model consensus from sources including the Met Office, Meteoprog, and European ensembles points to a maximum temperature of 21–22 °C in Amsterdam on September 4, driven by a mild southwesterly flow, extensive cloud cover, and scattered showers that limit daytime heating. These conditions align with the climatological average high of ~20.4 °C for the date and the absence of any strong ridge or cold advection. Market-implied odds, with 22 °C at 43.5 % and 21 °C at 32 %, reflect traders weighting the latest ECMWF and GFS runs that show little spread around this narrow range, while lower-probability tails account for possible model shifts in timing of frontal passages or slight warming under clearer breaks. Updated guidance through September 3 will be the key near-term catalyst.
