This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 20 Apr '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Singapore Changi Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/sg/singapore/WSSS. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official observations from Singapore's Meteorological Service Singapore confirm the highest temperature reached 32.3°C at Tuas South by 11:35 a.m. on April 20, 2026, already surpassing the 32°C threshold amid strong solar heating during inter-monsoon conditions. This aligns with the month's pattern, where maximums exceeded 34°C on 12 of the first 15 days, peaking at 35.4°C, driven by light winds and persistent humidity amplifying urban heat island effects. Forecasts indicate a daily peak around 33°C despite afternoon thundery showers, reflecting model consensus for equatorial stability. Trader consensus at 100% implied probability reflects this locked-in observational data; only an unprecedented pre-noon measurement revision—highly improbable given standardized station protocols—could challenge it, with final NEA daily records expected post-midnight.
