Forecast models for Buenos Aires show a tight range of overnight lows around 15–20°C on September 19, driving the close market-implied probabilities across those bins. Springtime variability in the Southern Hemisphere stems from shifting high-pressure systems over the South Atlantic and possible weak cold-air advection from Patagonia, modulated by local urban heat effects and wind patterns that influence minimum readings at official stations. Recent model runs from regional meteorological services indicate modest disagreements on cloud cover and timing of any frontal passage, keeping the distribution broad rather than favoring extremes. Traders are weighting historical September climatology, which typically sees lows near 12–18°C, against the latest ensemble guidance expected to update overnight.
