Current National Weather Service and private forecasts for Houston on September 6 project a daily minimum near 78°F under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies overnight, with light variable winds and dew points in the mid-70s limiting radiative cooling. This aligns with the typical late-summer pattern of scattered afternoon convection followed by modest nocturnal drops, rather than any atypical cold-air advection. Trader consensus clusters on 76–79°F ranges because small variations in cloud cover, shower timing, or boundary-layer mixing can shift the exact minimum by a degree or two around the forecast value, while historical September 6 lows average 74–75°F but recent years have trended warmer. No major model shifts or tropical influences have altered the outlook in the past 48 hours.
