Recent opinion polls ahead of Sweden's September 13, 2026, parliamentary election show the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead near 32 percent, with the Sweden Democrats holding second place around 20 percent and the Moderates in third near 17 percent. This consistent ranking across multiple surveys has anchored trader consensus on the Moderates finishing third, as the current Tidö Agreement coalition partners continue to trail the opposition Red-Greens bloc. Limited movement in recent months has kept alternative scenarios, such as a Sweden Democrats surge into third, at lower implied probabilities. Upcoming final campaign weeks and any late shifts in voter turnout or bloc consolidation could still influence the exact order.
