Incumbent Democrat Jared Moskowitz's decision to seek re-election in the newly redrawn Florida 25th district has anchored trader consensus around a Democratic hold. The map, signed by Governor Ron DeSantis in early May after legislative approval in late April, shifts boundaries across eastern Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties and aims to expand Republican advantages statewide. Moskowitz, who formally launched his campaign on May 28, faces a Democratic primary challenge from Oliver Larkin but benefits from name recognition and a record of bipartisan work on affordability issues. Republicans field multiple primary candidates ahead of the August 18 vote, yet the district's competitive character—rated a toss-up by forecasters—has kept Democratic shares elevated while leaving room for shifts from primary outcomes or general-election dynamics before November 3.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
