Ashley Moody holds the edge in Miami-Dade County trader consensus at 64 percent amid her strong Republican primary performance and statewide fundraising lead exceeding $11 million. Angie Nixon, the Democratic nominee following her August 18 upset primary victory over Alex Vindman, sits at 47 percent, reflecting her appeal to progressive and minority voters in the urban county despite limited resources. Recent developments include Nixon’s post-primary attacks linking Moody to a Medicaid settlement controversy and Moody’s emphasis on law enforcement endorsements and Trump support. Florida’s broader Republican shift and Miami-Dade’s evolving Hispanic electorate continue to shape assessments, with the November general election outcome hinging on turnout among key local voting blocs.
