Official National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 14 project a high near 94°F under sunny skies with light northerly winds, following clearing after weekend storms. This setup favors strong daytime solar heating in a warm air mass, pushing temperatures into the mid-90s well above the 84°F climatological average. Minor differences among model guidance on exact peak values and any subtle afternoon mixing explain the near-even market split between the 92-93°F and 94-95°F bins, with traders weighing the potential for slight cooling from variable winds against maximum insolation. Final observations at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport will determine resolution.
