Recent weather model consensus from sources including the National Meteorological Service of Mexico and international forecasts points to a maximum of 22–23°C in Mexico City on September 14 amid the ongoing rainy season, with widespread cloud cover, scattered showers, and possible thunderstorms limiting daytime heating. This aligns with September climatology, where average highs reach 23–24°C at the city’s 2,240-meter elevation, but persistent moisture and reduced solar radiation typically cap peaks near the lower end of the range. Trader emphasis on 24°C reflects slight upside potential if rain timing shifts later in the afternoon, while probabilities for 25°C or higher remain low due to the stable atmospheric pattern and lack of clear-sky conditions that could allow stronger warming. Updated model runs and official briefings expected overnight will provide the next key data points for resolution.
