National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance indicate a high near 100°F in Dallas on September 18 under sunny skies, light southerly winds, and minimal cloud cover, with heat indices potentially exceeding 105°F. This consensus from recent model runs supports the market's leading 98-99°F bin at 54% implied probability, followed by 96-97°F, as persistent warm advection and stable high pressure maintain elevated temperatures consistent with mid-September climatology. Minor downward revisions in some guidance introduce slight uncertainty around exact peak values, but low precipitation chances and steady conditions through the 24-hour window limit downside risk for lower bins. Updated NWS briefings and next model cycles will refine resolution criteria ahead of daily maximum verification.
