Northeast winds and lingering moisture from a stalled front have set up typical late-summer conditions in Miami, with National Weather Service guidance projecting a high near 89–90°F on September 16 amid partly to mostly sunny skies and a 40% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms. These storms often develop after peak heating, limiting further warming while humidity keeps heat indices above 100°F. Model consensus and recent observations align with the market’s heaviest weighting on 90–91°F, as climatological September highs in Miami average near 88°F yet recent days have reached the low 90s under similar patterns. Updated NHC and local forecast discussions through midday will provide the final calibration for resolution.
