This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 28 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Official National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on August 28, 2026, call for a high near 90°F under mostly sunny skies with a 20–50% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, consistent with the long-term average high of 90.4°F for the date.** Easterly flow and sea-breeze circulation typical of late-summer South Florida are expected to limit extreme heating, while high humidity supports heat-index values above 100°F even if air temperatures peak modestly. Recent model consensus and climatological data show daily maxima clustering in the 89–93°F range, explaining why traders have concentrated implied probability on the 90–91°F (36%) and 92–93°F (56%) bins. Scattered convection could shave a degree or two from the peak if storms develop early, while clearer conditions would favor the upper end of that envelope; resolution will hinge on the official Miami International Airport observation.
