Nathalie Roy, the incumbent Coalition Avenir Québec MNA since 2012 and former Assembly president, holds a strong position in Montarville ahead of the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election, with trader consensus reflecting her established local base in Boucherville and Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. Recent candidate announcements, including Jean-François Cloutier for the Parti Québécois in August and Mathieu Lavoie for the Liberals, have clarified the field ahead of the September 17 nomination deadline, yet projections from models like 338Canada show CAQ maintaining a lead in the riding despite tighter provincial polling. The structure of the contest, with Roy seeking a fifth term and limited shifts in riding-level support, underpins the current implied probabilities among active traders.
