Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models indicate mostly sunny skies and light northerly winds over Atlanta on September 14, supporting a daily high in the low to mid-90s under building high pressure. This aligns with the market's leading 92-93°F bin (36.5% implied probability) and nearby 94-95°F outcome (20%), well above the 84°F climatological average for the date. Recent model runs show minimal precipitation risk and modest warming from upstream ridging, though small uncertainties in boundary-layer mixing or timing of any weak frontal passage could shift the peak by a degree or two. Traders appear to be weighting the consensus guidance heavily while leaving room for forecast adjustments closer to the event.
