Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Dallas on September 2 points to highs in the mid-90s, with some runs favoring upper 90s under partly sunny skies and light southeast flow. This follows an unusually hot September 1 near 99–100°F and aligns closely with the 1991–2020 average high of 93.4°F, though afternoon convection or increased cloud cover could cap readings near 94–95°F while clearer conditions support 96–97°F. Trader consensus, reflected in the 42% implied probability for 96–97°F versus 33% for 94–95°F, centers on this narrow range of forecast variability and typical model spread for maximum temperature resolution.
