Current National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance indicates Dallas overnight lows on September 2 will likely settle in the upper 70s to low 80s under continued southerly flow and high pressure, yet the even market-implied odds across bins reflect genuine uncertainty in the precise minimum. Key differentiating factors include the degree of nocturnal radiative cooling under mostly clear skies versus any increase in low-level moisture or light winds that could limit temperature drops, with dew points near 70 °F anchoring the floor. Minor shifts in cloud cover, wind speed below 5 mph, or frontal moisture arriving from the southeast could easily move the realized low across adjacent 2 °F bins. Updated model runs and National Weather Service forecasts through September 1 will provide the next resolution signals for traders.
