Current National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 2 indicate a high near 89°F under mostly sunny skies following morning clearing, consistent with late-summer high-pressure dominance and typical Front Range diurnal heating. Trader consensus splits nearly evenly between the 88-89°F and 90-91°F bins because small differences in afternoon boundary-layer mixing, downslope wind strength, and residual moisture could shift the peak by 1–2°F. Official resolution relies on the daily maximum recorded at Denver International Airport; updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 48 hours will refine the outcome as the event nears.
