Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a highest temperature of 15–16°C in Helsinki on September 13, 2026, aligning with the market’s heavy weighting on those outcomes. Mid-September climatology places the average daily high near 15.9°C, with current southwesterly flow, extensive cloud cover, and marine influence from the Baltic moderating daytime warming while limiting overnight recovery. Latest runs show light rain chances and stable pressure patterns that suppress significant deviations, keeping 17°C or higher low-probability. Traders appear to be incorporating this consensus alongside historical analogs, where extremes above 18°C or below 14°C remain rare this time of year absent strong advection changes.
