Recent forecast models from agencies including the China Meteorological Administration and global ensembles indicate a maximum temperature of 32–33 °C in Wuhan on September 13, driven by persistent high pressure, light northerly winds, and mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies that limit daytime heating. This consensus aligns with the market’s leading 33 °C outcome at 54 % implied probability, as September climatology in the Yangtze River valley typically features highs near 30 °C under stable post-monsoon conditions. Minor model spread around 31–34 °C supports the secondary probabilities for 32 °C and 34 °C, while lower outcomes remain unlikely absent unexpected cloud cover or frontal passage. Final resolution will depend on official station observations at the close of the 24-hour period.
