Persistent high humidity and southerly flow from the Gulf of Mexico are keeping overnight lows elevated across Houston, with official forecasts from sources like the National Weather Service and major models showing minimum temperatures of 78–81°F for September 13. This aligns with the market’s leading 78–79°F outcome at 47.5% implied probability, as warm advection and limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies prevent sharper drops. Recent model runs show no incoming cold front or significant precipitation that would enhance cooling, while historical September climatology supports typical lows in the mid-to-upper 70s. Traders appear focused on these stable conditions ahead of the next forecast update.
