Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate persistent rain and extensive cloud cover over Seattle on September 13, driven by a southerly flow ahead of an approaching system, which is expected to cap daytime warming and keep the high temperature in the low-to-mid 60s°F. This aligns with the closely matched market-implied odds favoring 62–65°F outcomes, as the combination of precipitation, high humidity, and limited solar insolation reduces the likelihood of reaching the seasonal average near 71°F. Key variables differentiating the leading bins include the exact timing of heaviest rain, wind shifts, and any brief afternoon clearing that could allow modest additional warming. Updated National Weather Service guidance and model runs over the next 12–24 hours will provide the clearest resolution signals ahead of market close.
