Current forecasts from multiple models indicate overnight lows in New York City on September 14 will likely fall in the low-to-mid 60s°F, driven by clearing skies after September 13 rainfall and northerly winds advecting cooler air behind a departing frontal system. Ensemble guidance shows modest spread due to variable timing of cloud dissipation and boundary-layer mixing, with some runs supporting brief dips near 60°F while others hold closer to 65°F. This uncertainty, set against September climatological averages near 62°F, explains the tight clustering of trader-implied probabilities around the 62–67°F bins as participants weigh official NWS guidance against potential revisions in the final model runs before resolution.
