**Marine layer influence and onshore flow are anchoring trader expectations for San Francisco’s September 16 low near 58–59°F.** Official National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight temperatures bottoming out in the upper 50s amid persistent westerly winds, moderate humidity, and variable cloud cover that limits radiational cooling. This aligns with the historical average low of 55.9°F while remaining well above the 51°F record. The closely matched probabilities across the 58–61°F bins reflect uncertainty in exact minimum timing and localized urban heat effects versus marine stratus arrival. New hourly observations through the night will refine the final reading used for market resolution.
