**Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Miami on September 12 points to highs in the upper 80s to low 90s amid scattered thunderstorms and persistent cloud cover, which limits surface heating and supports the market's leading 90-91°F and 88-89°F buckets.** High humidity and southeast flow off the Atlantic are maintaining elevated dew points near 80°F, while isolated convection and increased cloud fraction reduce peak insolation compared to the clearer, hotter conditions seen earlier in the month. Historical September averages near 89.5°F and recent observations showing diurnal ranges compressed by moisture provide context for why traders assign only modest probability to 92°F-plus outcomes. Updated model runs and afternoon NWS briefings on the 12th will likely refine these probabilities as steering patterns and convective timing become clearer.
