Forecast models from sources including the GFS show Dallas under clear skies and southerly flow on September 13, supporting daytime highs near 99–101°F amid above-average late-summer warmth. Persistent high pressure and light winds limit mixing and cloud development, allowing strong solar heating that pushes temperatures well above the 1991–2020 average high of roughly 90°F for the date. Trader consensus clusters on the 98–101°F range because ensemble guidance shows limited spread, though modest shifts in afternoon dew points or timing of any thin high clouds could nudge the official maximum across bin boundaries. Resolution depends on the highest reading at official stations, with low precipitation odds reinforcing the warm bias.
