Current National Weather Service and model consensus point to mostly clear skies and light northerly flow on September 8, favoring a Seattle high near 72°F under stable high pressure. This setup promotes efficient daytime heating after a cool overnight low near 53–56°F, with minimal marine air intrusion and low precipitation chances keeping conditions dry. Trader emphasis on the 72–73°F and 74–75°F bins reflects minor spread across ensemble members regarding peak timing and exact boundary-layer mixing, typical for late-summer coastal environments where small shifts in wind direction or insolation can alter the daily maximum by a degree or two. Updated model runs and the morning forecast briefing remain the key near-term catalysts.
