Recent forecasts from agencies including the Turkish Meteorological Service and international models indicate a cooling trend over Ankara, with daytime highs for September 18 projected between 21–23°C amid scattered showers and increased cloud cover. This stems from northeasterly flow advecting cooler maritime air and a passing frontal system that limits solar heating while elevating humidity. Market-implied odds cluster around 20–23°C because ensemble runs show modest spread in maximum temperature tied to exact shower timing and boundary-layer mixing; higher outcomes above 25°C would require clearer skies and stronger insolation not currently favored. Historical September averages near 26°C provide context, yet the present synoptic pattern favors values closer to the lower end of the distribution.
