Recent model consensus from sources including global ensembles and the South African Weather Service indicates a high of 21–24°C for Cape Town on September 19 under clear skies and light southerly winds, following stronger southeasterlies earlier in the week. This aligns with the market’s tight clustering around 23–25°C, reflecting traders’ assessment of typical spring warming above the 19–20°C seasonal average while accounting for forecast spread in peak timing and localized effects around Table Mountain. Official updates from monitoring agencies over the next 48 hours will refine resolution criteria based on the daily maximum reading.
