Recent forecasts indicate a warm southerly airflow over southern England this weekend, supporting maximum temperatures in London on September 6 likely between 24–28°C according to Met Office and ensemble guidance. Key variables include the strength of high pressure allowing solar heating versus any scattered cloud or showers that could cap the peak, with model runs showing modest spread in boundary-layer warmth and wind speeds. Historical September averages near 20°C provide context for the elevated outlook, though short-range updates from official agencies remain the primary resolution drivers. Trader odds reflect this genuine forecast uncertainty rather than consensus on any single threshold.
