Forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models indicate an overnight low in Miami on September 18 most likely between 76–78°F, consistent with the historical average of 76.8°F for the date. Persistent easterly flow, elevated dew points near 75–77°F, and scattered cloud cover from diurnal thunderstorms limit radiational cooling and keep the minimum from dropping further. Recent model runs show minor spread in the exact hourly low depending on the timing and coverage of showers, which explains the tight clustering of market-implied odds between the 74–77°F bins. No cold-air advection or atypical steering patterns are present to push temperatures toward the lower-probability sub-74°F outcomes. Updated NWS guidance and the next model cycle tonight will provide the final data ahead of resolution.
