Recent polling averages for Sweden's September 13, 2026, parliamentary election show the Social Democrats leading at roughly 28%, followed by the Sweden Democrats near 19% and the Moderate Party around 17-18%, with smaller parties trailing further back. This consistent ordering across multiple surveys from Novus, Verian, Demoskop, and Indikator Opinion has held through the final weeks, reflecting stable voter preferences on issues like security, crime, and the economy amid a tightening race between the blocs. The Liberals' recent gains near the 4% threshold have not altered the top-three dynamics. Trader consensus prices the Moderate Party as the clear favorite for third place based on this sustained gap between the Sweden Democrats and Moderates.
