Recent forecasts from the India Meteorological Department indicate mostly clear skies over Lucknow through September 21, supporting maximum temperatures near 35–36°C amid post-monsoon conditions with reduced cloud cover and light northerly winds. Historical September averages hover around 33–34°C, and current model runs show a warming trend from recent days with actual highs near 34°C, though some international guidance suggests slightly lower values around 34°C. Trader consensus centers on 33–34°C as the most probable outcome given typical forecast uncertainty ranges and verification challenges for daily maxima, while probabilities for 35°C or higher remain low absent stronger high-pressure buildup or delayed monsoon withdrawal. Updated IMD briefings and observational data in the next 48 hours will refine these implied probabilities ahead of resolution.
