Recent forecasts for Panama City, Panama, on September 21 point to a daily high near 31°C as the most likely outcome, consistent with September climatology of 30–32°C amid the rainy season. High humidity near 90–95%, light winds, and scattered afternoon thunderstorms—driven by the Intertropical Convergence Zone—typically cap daytime peaks while preventing extreme heat. Model consensus from sources such as Worldmeteo and Weather Atlas supports a 29–31°C range, with limited upward potential from cloud cover and precipitation. Trader positioning around the 31°C outcome (49.5% implied probability) aligns with these stable tropical conditions and the low odds assigned to 33°C or higher, reflecting historical rarity of such spikes in late September. Updated model runs and official observations through the day will refine the final recorded maximum.
