Recent short-range model consensus from sources including GFS and ECMWF indicates Qingdao’s September 14 high will likely reach 27–30 °C under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and light northeasterly flow. Coastal moderation from the Yellow Sea and the seasonal transition out of the East Asian monsoon keep extremes unlikely, aligning with historical mid-September averages near 26 °C. Current observations show stable highs in the mid-20s °C with low humidity and no approaching fronts or tropical moisture, supporting the market’s heaviest volume on 29–30 °C outcomes. Updated official forecasts from the China Meteorological Administration over the next 48 hours will provide the final observational inputs for resolution.
