Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate scattered thunderstorms and increasing cloud cover will limit overnight radiative cooling in Denver, supporting a minimum temperature near 55°F on September 18. Model guidance shows dew points in the mid-50s°F and light winds under 5 mph, reducing the chance of significant further cooling below observed guidance. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around 54–61°F because these conditions create a narrow uncertainty range, with slight variations in storm timing or cloud thickness able to shift the low by a few degrees. Historical September lows average near 53°F, providing context for the current elevated forecast. No additional official updates are expected before resolution tomorrow.
