**Recent polling trends and structural dynamics in Georgia’s November 3, 2026 Senate contest explain the strong trader consensus favoring an outright winner.** Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff holds consistent leads of 5–9 points over Republican nominee Mike Collins in multiple July and August surveys, placing Ossoff near or above 50% while Collins trails in the low-to-mid 40s and minor candidates absorb the remainder. Georgia’s majority-vote rule triggers a December 1 runoff only if no candidate clears 50%, so these margins imply Ossoff is positioned to secure a first-round majority absent a late swing in turnout or undecided voters. The Republican primary process, which concluded with Collins’s June runoff victory after a three-way May contest, has left the general-election matchup stable. No major campaign events, endorsements, or scandals have materially altered the race since the summer polls. Forecasters note Ossoff’s fundraising edge and the state’s recent electoral patterns, where incumbents with similar leads have typically avoided runoffs. Traders therefore price the “Yes” outcome at 94.5% as the consensus view that current conditions favor resolution on election night rather than extension into December. Late developments such as turnout surges, third-party surges, or polling shifts remain the primary variables that could still affect the outcome.
