Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Los Angeles on September 3 point to a high near 75–82°F, with morning low clouds and fog from the marine layer giving way to sunshine under typical onshore flow. This setup aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 76.7°F and explains why the 76–77°F bin leads at 52% implied probability, followed by 78–79°F at 26.5%. Absent any heat-wave signals or offshore winds that could push readings into the mid-80s, traders have concentrated bets around near-normal September conditions measured at official stations such as Los Angeles International Airport. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will provide the final inputs before resolution.
