Official National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on August 28, 2026, indicate a high near 89–90°F under mostly sunny skies with a 30–50% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, driven by typical late-summer subtropical moisture, sea-breeze convergence, and high humidity producing heat indices above 105°F. These conditions, consistent with the 1991–2020 average high of 90.4°F and recent years’ maxima clustered in the low 90s, position the 92–93°F bin as the market leader by reflecting trader consensus on modest daytime heating before convective cooling limits further rises. Model agreement on east-southeast winds of 5–10 mph and limited morning cloud cover supports this range over cooler or hotter extremes, with any late-day storm timing or intensity serving as the key variable that could shift realized maxima within the current implied probabilities.
