Recent forecasts from sources including the National Weather Service equivalents and European models indicate a highest temperature near 23–24°C in Mexico City on September 2, driven by persistent cloud cover and scattered thunderstorms typical of the early rainy season at 2,240 m elevation. These conditions limit daytime heating compared with clearer periods, aligning with historical September averages of 22–24°C highs and low probabilities of extremes above 26°C or below 22°C. Model consensus shows minimal day-to-day variability through the short-term window, with any shifts likely tied to exact storm timing or localized clearing that could nudge the peak by 1°C. Trader positioning reflects this narrow range, as updated runs through September 1 continue to favor moderate outcomes over outliers.
