Official National Weather Service forecasts for Houston point to overnight lows in the upper 70s on September 11 amid southerly winds and high humidity that limit radiational cooling. Persistent late-summer patterns with scattered thunderstorm chances and heat indices above 100°F during the day keep minimum temperatures elevated above the 30-year average low near 74°F. Model consensus shows little change from recent warm, moist conditions, supporting trader emphasis on the 76-77°F bin as the most likely outcome while assigning meaningful probability to 78-79°F. Updated guidance and any overnight observations could shift these market-implied odds ahead of resolution.
