Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a mild overnight period for Los Angeles on September 6, with the lowest temperature likely falling in the upper 60s to low 70s. Persistent marine influence, elevated dew points near 60–65°F, and increasing cloud cover ahead of a weak disturbance limit radiational cooling. Official point forecasts show overnight lows around 70–73°F at coastal and downtown locations, several degrees above the 1991–2020 September 6 climatological average of 64°F. Light winds and possible evening showers further suppress temperature drops. With the market’s top three bins (72–73°F, 68–69°F, 70–71°F) holding nearly equal implied probabilities, traders appear to be pricing in modest forecast uncertainty typical of short-range marine-layer and precipitation timing. Updated NWS briefings and evening model runs will provide the final data ahead of resolution.
