Recent polling averages place the Social Democrats first at around 28 percent and Sweden Democrats second near 19 percent, leaving the Moderate Party positioned for third place with roughly 17 percent support. Late-campaign tightening between the centre-left and right-wing blocs has narrowed the overall seat gap without disrupting this party order, as Moderates maintain a clear edge over Centre, Left, Greens, and Christian Democrats. The election-day vote count will confirm final rankings under Sweden’s proportional system, where the 4 percent threshold and bloc dynamics further reduce prospects for any other party finishing third. Trader consensus reflects these stable relative standings across multiple institutes in the final weeks.
