**National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble models indicate a coastal high near 84–85°F for Los Angeles on August 26, driven by a strong upper-level ridge producing regional heat but offset by persistent southwest onshore flow and marine-layer influence that caps temperatures near the coast.** This positions the 84–85°F bin as the market leader at 41% implied probability, consistent with typical LAX and downtown readings where sea breezes frequently limit peaks below inland values exceeding 100°F. Recent model runs show limited day-to-day shifts, with average August 26 climatology also centered on 85°F. Final NWS updates and any late marine-layer changes remain the key variables before resolution.
