**Forecast consensus from the National Weather Service and other models points to a daily high in the upper 80s for Miami on September 20, 2026, aligning with the market’s leading 88-89°F bin at 39% implied probability.** Persistent warm, humid air typical of late September supports daytime temperatures near or slightly above the 89°F seasonal normal, while scattered afternoon thunderstorms—forecast with 50-80% chance—introduce modest cooling through cloud cover and rain, keeping the most probable range at 86-89°F. Overnight lows in the mid-70s and light variable winds allow modest recovery, but the overall pattern shows no strong warming or cooling signals. Recent observations from September 19 (actual high 90°F) and stable model runs reinforce trader focus on the upper 80s rather than extremes, with lower-probability bins (90°F+) reflecting residual uncertainty around storm timing and intensity.
