Persistent southeast flow and widespread thunderstorm activity forecast for Miami on August 26 are limiting overnight radiative cooling, keeping the minimum temperature anchored in the upper 70s to low 80s per National Weather Service and private model consensus. High dew points near 75°F combined with cloud cover and light easterly winds reduce the typical diurnal temperature drop, consistent with climatological August averages around 77–78°F but elevated this period by ongoing moisture. The closely matched 78–79°F and 80–81°F market buckets reflect uncertainty in exact storm timing and coverage, with new overnight model runs and NWS updates expected to sharpen resolution criteria tied to official Miami International Airport observations.
