Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for Miami on September 16 points to scattered thunderstorms and northeast winds of 8–12 mph, favoring highs in the upper 80s to low 90s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Persistent late-summer warmth and high dew points support the market’s leading 90–91 °F bin (38.5 % implied probability), while increased cloud cover and rainfall chances from tropical moisture are expected to limit full solar heating and keep some probability on 88–89 °F. Historical September 16 averages near 89 °F and recent days near 87–88 °F provide climatological context. Updated model runs and National Hurricane Center briefings over the next 48 hours will refine steering patterns and convective timing that determine the final maximum.
